During a recent holiday to Goa in India I noticed a variety of old buses still running, the majority of these were Ashock Leyland, but I noticed that the trim on the side of them were similar to that carried on 296 and as the bus is a bit short off that I decided to see if I could get some there, as I have had difficulty locating it in England, pictured below is the area where I need it.
We were not successful in getting any, the type I wanted is an inch and a half thick and all we could find was an inch and three quarters but Ivo will not be beat, as a businessman he will try to have some made for me in Mumbai. Good luck to him.
Below is a selection of pics of some of the local transport.

After these photos were taken I was warned by the Memsahib that we were on holiday and told this was not a rally so put your camera away.(Memsahib is the former Indian name for a European married woman).
