Cromford Steam Rally 2014
This very popular show was held on Saturday & Sunday 3rd & 4th September on the showground off the A615 at Brackenfield nr Matlock Derbyshire and what a brilliant show it was.
The weather on Saturday was rotten, rain, rain and more rain, I thought one of the exhibits would have been Nohahs Ark. That did'nt deter some people who braved the rain.
Sunday was different the sun shone most of the day and the crowds turned out.
At the start of Sundays show it is tradition to hold a church service, not being religious myself I thought I would have a listen. the theme of the service was to commemorate the start of World war one, and what a moving service it was. All the speakers put their heart and soul into it and so did a large number of visitors to the event, well done to all.
Below is a few pics of the service, due to the crowds I could not get very good shots of it.

Note the destination of the two Midland General buses, RAINworth to match the weather.
